Serrano Dahlia

Another variety of dahlia's are blooming.  This is a cactus variety called Serrano.  Its a nice yellow with small specks of red.  This is the first bloom for the season - but they don't seem to be doing well in the raised bed.   The dahlia's planted in the ground are doing better.  Possibly the soil in the raised beds gets too warm for the tubers.
